Test Kit

The Test Kit section of the AlertBot Manager contains network and testing tools that allow you to run server tests on demand. A key feature of these tools is that you can choose which test station you want to run these tests from. Tools in the Test Kit:

Standard Ping Test – This tool allows you to enter the domain name or IP of your server or website and it will return the response time in milliseconds from any of our test station locations around the world. This allows you to understand what kind of lag users will experience from those geographic locations around the world.

Standard HTTP Test – This tool allows you to enter a web page URL and measure your website’s performance from any of our test station locations around the world. This performance test measures things like connection time, response time, download time and download speed.

These two tools give you the ability to manually test your servers and gather data to help you make more accurate decisions and reduce your troubleshooting time.
