    The Server Standard monitoring service is designed to test any type of server at both an ICMP Ping level as well as a Port connectivity level. Unlike competing server monitors that only do an ICMP Ping of the network device, our service also performs more advanced testing which verifies that specific ports on your server or network device are responding at the TCP protocol layer. By doing advanced port testing, we are able to detect a wider range of failures and gather more accurate performance data.
