Control Panel
Our customers are able
to manage their monitoring services through an easy to use, web-based control
panel called the AlertBot Manager. The
AlertBot Manager contains 4 sections, plus a wireless-enabled (WAP) site. The following outline describes some of
the key features from each section:
Monitors Section – The Monitors section
allows you to administer all aspects of your monitoring service from configuring
your monitors to managing your Alert Contact list.
- A step-by-step Wizard guides you through the process of configuring new website or server monitors
- Quick summary page that lists all of the monitors that you are running
- Detailed configuration pages for each monitor and quick edit forms
- In-line help for each configuration item
- Organize and manage your Alert Contact list from a central location
Reports Section – The Reports section
contains status and performance reports on your monitors. Here are a couple of the features:
- Quick access to the most popular reports from the first page
- Advanced Report designer allows you to create your own customized reports from any of the data we log
- Export feature allows you to export data to your desktop for further analysis
Test Kit - The Test Kit
provides you with a couple advanced tools that allow you to manually test your
websites and servers.
- Advanced Ping Test – allows you to measure response times
- Advanced HTTP Test – allows you to measure website connection, response, and download times
Account Section – The Account section allows you to administer your account settings and view account details. Here is a list of the key features:
- Edit your account contact information
- Manager permissions for the various users that you allow to access your account. For example, you may give someone permissions to only be able to login and run reports, but not change any monitoring settings
- Access and update your billing information
- View a log report of monitoring changes that affected your billing
